Shine on you crazy diamond

"Shine on you crazy diamond" is a 210x888 mm brochure, inspired by Syd Barrett's story, the first singer of Pink Floyd. This story illustrates the phases he goes thru in his life, from success to depression and severe mental disorder. This story is based on theories and stories told by the band itself. Syd always wanted to be famous, but as the band started to get fame he realized that it's not what he wanted. Syd started to act up, with drugs and depression he wasn't even able to perform anymore. So the band let him go, replacing him with David Gilmour. As the years went by Pink Floyd became one of the most famous band's of all time and they decided to dedicate an album to Syd. The band said that after many years a strange man showed up to the studio, obese with shaved eyebrows as they were recording, after awhile he left. They later found out it was Syd, and no one recognized him. That was the last time they ever saw him. Syd passed July 7th 2006.
